Ukrainian Indie Developers will Represent at Indie Prize Kyiv!

The Ukraine is bringing a wide variety of games to participate in Indie Prize at Casual Connect in Kyiv. They range through the genres from point-and-click adventures, shooters, puzzles games and a game that takes you to the world of mental disease. There are especially intriguing educational games for children.

Game Title: Foxtail
Developer: Gingertips

Foxtail, a classic point-and-click adventure, has a world of complex and variable tasks. The main character is a fox named Leah who faces a long and difficult journey through mines, mountains swamps and a dangerous night forest. But each character has its own life and the player must interact with them all in some way. The player must also assist Leah in defeating her fears and helping those she meets along the way.

Foxtail is currently in the demo stage of development.

Guns /n Stories: Bulletproof VR was a participant at the GTP Media Cup.

Game Title: Molecats

Molecats is a puzzle adventure where you must guide the molecats through caves as they face dangerous traps, spooky monsters and tricky challenges. You must take control of the environment and change the course they follow if you are going to succeed.




Vidroid has brought Molecats to Early Access and they hope to release the game in the fourth quarter of 2017 and then release it on additional platforms.

Luna Forest is a puzzle game that mixes elements of Monument Valley and Lara Croft: Go. As the player, you are lost in a forest. But the forest is also lost. How much more lost can you get?

123 Draw is a game that uses children’s natural curiosity to help them learn the numbers from one to ten and how to write them. They follow the instructions to draw a character, such as a snail, a sun, a butterfly and then count them. When they draw a number, the character magically come to life.

123 Draw has been featured on both the App Store and Google Play.

Funny Food 2 is made up of fifteen different games geared toward children’s successful development. Each game has hints embedded in it to help the child progress quickly and enjoyably.

Funny Food 2 was in the Top 10 children’s category on the App Store in the Ukraine, Russian and LATAM.

Incredible Water Adventure is a mobile puzzle adventure platformer game. A tiny drop of water uses its incredible properties to explore the world. The player, as the drop of water, solves puzzles by interacting with the world using the physical and chemical properties of water. But there are enemies along the way. This game offers educational opportunities about the properties of water as well as environmental issues.

Incredible Water Adventure was self-published on Google Play; at soft launch it gained over 700 users. It participated in Indie Prize at Casual Connect USA 2016 and was nominated for Best Kids App. It was selected to be pitched at the Global Top Talent event in July 2016 and received plenty of positive feedback. It was featured by the GP team in the US designed for kids category and was also in the top 60 games in the Western Europe area after soft launch.

Talking ABC is an interactive alphabet game that makes learning fun and amusing with animal characters in the style of clay animation. Each animal has a talking mode that allows a child to listen to how the letters and animals sound and practice pronunciation. A song about the letters also aids learning. The app contains six different games.

This game has received Best Preschool App of 2013, Best Kids App 2013 Apple and App of the Day FWA MOTD Award.

Game Title: AZZL

AZZL is a game-cartoon hybrid. It is filled with jokes and animation puzzles designed to be at your fingertips as they work their way into your mind.




AZZL received Best of the App Store in 2015. It also received the Webby Award Honore 2016 and FWA average rating 4.5.

Dream Dev Studio describes Death Horizon this way:

This game, a great combination of terror and difficulty, aims to be the most realistic shooter on mobile VR.

G30 tells the story of a person with a mental disease. It recreates the process of memorizing through combining telescopic text and graphical puzzles.

G30 won Indie Prize Most Innovative Game and was nominated for Best Game Design at Casual Connect USA 2017. It was selected for Indie Prize Showcase at Casual Connect Europe 2017, White Nights Indie Cup Showcase Prague 2017, GetIT Odessa 2017 and Games Gathering Kyiv 2016.
