Indie Prize Participants from Argentina and Canada in Kyiv

Two participants from Argentina and one participant from Canada will join the competition at Casual Connect Kyiv and Indie Prize. The two excitingly different games from Argentina is represented at Indie Prize Kyiv both demand skill and determination but are very divergent types.

Game Title: Darkestville Castle

Darkestville Castle has graphics reminiscent of the twisted aesthetics of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Add to that the classic point-and-and click techniques of games like Monkey Island and you are ready to follow the comedy narrative of Cid, the mischievous demon of Darkestville.




This game won at Indie Prize  2016 Amsterdam as Best Narrative Game. It also won Gaming Business Cordoba 2016 and was nominated at Devgamm 2017 for Best Narrative and Best Aesthetics.

In Blink and Die, the music defines the game. In a 360 degree playing field, you must avoid hitting bars that dance to the music. The catch is, you can use only your head. Use the game’s music track of nine songs or use your own music library. But don’t blink!




Blink and Die has not yet been published, but it won the Best Kids and Family Game and Best Audio awards at Indie Prize Berlin 2017.

This Indie Prize Participant from offers plenty of excitement and demands focus and skill to succeed in the frigid environment of Northern Canada.

The Darwin Project takes place in a post-apocalyptic world in the Northern Canadian Rockies. Players must fight to the death in an area where the environment is as dangerous as the players themselves. The Darwin Project offers a multiplayer third person survival experience with the manhunt at its core. To win, a player must survive the environment, track opponents and set traps.

The Darwin Project was an E3 2017 Winner of Best Future esport by DIGITAL TRENDS, Unreal E3 2017 Awards by GamesBeat – nomination for Best Hook, nomination for Most Addictive and nomination for Biggest Buzz. It was also Best Game of E3 2017 Twinfinite and E3 Best Xbox Indie Game 2017.
