Representatives From Latin America Showcased at Indie Prize Casual Connect USA

The Latin American representatives in the Indie Prize competition at Casual Connect USA comes from Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Paraguay and Colombia.








Game Title: Impossible Dungeons

Impossible Dungeons is a PC action game for up to four players. Heroes are facing incoming waves of enemies; you must use strategic defenses to defeat them, but even a single enemy getting through your defenses will defeat you. You can find gold coins to assist you to gain defensive towers and traps. The fast paced action of the game progresses as you upgrade and adapt the heroes, unlock new heroes and move through nine hardcore dungeons. Working in teams will help you through the ever increasing levels of difficulty.

Impossible Dungeons was created by HopFrog, based in Sunchales, Santa Fe, Argentina. This game was the winner of the Audience Award at EVA2016 in Buenos Aires.

Ballistic Overkill is a fast-paced online player v player shooter. In this game every player is a killer; there are no support classes. Instead, each of the seven classes are equally capable of dominating the match, but each class has its own skills and weapons. The player can make multiple load outs with each to create different builds within the same character.

Ballistic Overkill has received 80% positive reviews from Steam users.

Lila’s Tale has the player leading the character through a series of puzzles as she tries to rescue her little brother. This dungeon crawler experience has environments created especially for VR, with obstacles, mysteries beneath the dungeon and chain reaction puzzles.

Lila’s Tale was a finalist at IndiePitch Arena at GMGC in Bejing, as well as winner of Best Game Art and nominated for both Best Game Design and Best VR Game Indie Prize at Casual Connect Asia.

How tall can you build? You can find out with BalanCity, a game that merges the qualities of SimCity and Jenga. In this city building/balance physics game, you attempt to build the tallest towering city over a balancing platform while still keeping the city’s citizens happy.

The PC version of the game, released in September, 2016 received a lot of attention in such media as PC Gamer, Kotku and KillScreen. It was nominated for Best Kids and Family Indie prize in Tel Aviv 2016. The mobile version is near release on Android.

Can you imagine a future ruled by factions of hackers? When you play Fhactions you can find out what that might be like. Teams of hackers battle in this cyberpunk location-based mobile game. The game is not yet released but soft launch is expected in about two months.

After eight years in development, Among Giants is ready to present Distortions to the world. The project began with a group of friends making the game as their hobby. They dedicated more and more of their time to it, eventually making it a commercial product. They hope you will enjoy it as much as they do.

World War Doh is a 1 v 1 real-time strategy game that has you leading the commander and his allies into battle. But the allies are not always willing to follow the commander. You can choose between thirty different troops and structures as you manage your battle deck and put your strategy into action. World War Doh won Best Video Game at Lapiz de Acero Design Awards in Colombia. It has also been featured several times in the App store, including New Games We Love, Featured, Top Free iPhone Apps and Made in Latin America.
